I was looking for burgundy wool blend socks and found these. Since at the time of this purchase one pair of burgundy socks was $6.99 and 3 pairs (burgundy, khaki, and yellow) was $9.99, it made more sense to buy the set of 3 pairs. The burgundy color is a true dark burgundy, the khaki is light brown, and the yellow is more of a yellow-brown. The picture shows the khaki pair.As compared to other wool blend socks I have bought, I do very much like these socks. I was concerned about the cable knit on the cuff as I have others with the same type of cuff that either have stretched out or were tight on my leg. This is not the case with these socks. I wear a size 7 shoe and these socks are a perfect fit. So, why do I like these socks?1) They fit perfectly with no overlap at the toe.2) The length of the cuff is perfect for me, and they don't make pressure marks on my leg.3) These socks are very soft and comfortable and don't feel squishy when wearing them. If you have bought other wool blend socks, you know what I mean.4) These socks are actually thick and warm but breath so your feet don't sweat.5) There is no seam at the toe to cut into your toes when you wear them.6) They wash well, stay soft, and don't shrink. They actually feel a little thicker after washing. Although it is recommended they are hand washed, I machine wash them in cold water using Woolite with the rest of my laundry.Overall, I am happy with these socks and would recommend them. I have decided to buy a couple more pairs in different colors. I will update this review if my opinion changes. I hope this review was helpful for you.
