These boots are as nice as their photo but get a bigger size. I wear a 10 so got the biggest size 10.5-11. They Just barley fit. To be honest, if they weren't so pretty I would have returned them. I'm hoping the leather will stretch. Fingers .... and Toes crossed.I tried 2 separate pairs of these gorgeous, comfortable Pikolinos Rotterdam 8775 ankle boots in the wine color, both at reduced prices from two different sellers, and from the time I placed my first step in them they creaked and squeaked. (Btw, I went up to the next larger size on the advice of Pikolinos who said they ran narrow after I explained that I always wear a wide width.)I was hesitant about buying them because the last and only time I bought gorgeous shoes at a reduced price they squeaked so much I was embarrassed to wear them. I ordered the 2nd pair of these ankle boots to give them a fair chance but when they also squeaked---unlike the Pikolinos Rotterdam 8900 ankle boots I ordered at the same time---I returned both pairs.When I ordered each pair of 8775 I gave no thought to what a reviewer mentioned---its color rubbing off at the very back to reveal a silvery color underneath---but fully understood when I could not clean off a silvery mark in that area when I wiped them clean to return them. YMMV in that respect.The Rotterdam 8900 is a plainer style, meaning fewer parts to rub together, and doesn't make a sound. It doesn't have all the stylish accents that the 8775 has but I'll be able to wear them with confidence. Again, and to be fair, YMMV in everything I mentioned.My wife says this is the most comfortable bootsshe has owned. Very happy with purchase.I wear 8 1/2 - 9, which these are, and it was hard to get my foot into it! They are really cute and I will try the next size up.10/30/21 Received the next size up (9 1/2-10), length was good (although I've never worn larger than a size 9) but these boots are very narrow!! I have a medium width foot and they were just way too tight!I am pretty bummed because I just love these boots.These are the most beautiful, comfortable, stylish boots ever!! The heal height is perfect, and the quality of the leather is the best! Several years ago I was visiting Barcelona Spain and couldn't help but notice the exceptionally beautiful boots everywhere! These Pikolinos are made at a family tannery in Spain. They are awesome!!!Love this brand. I love them.When I needed an updated bootie in brown, I immediately looked to Pikolinos. I've had several pairs of various styles and never regretted buying them. These are no exception: they fit well immediately, and are comfortable enough for a walk to the market.These are actually two-tone, brown with a dark brown heel and ties. They should be stylish for years to come.absolutely beautiful comfortable boots but pair 1 when walking there was an annoying clicking sound from both heels. sent them back for replacing and what do you know, the replacement pair only one heel clicks . returned for refund. so disappointed. not like the usual quality from pikolinos at all.I wished I'd bought a pair of these sooner! They must be the most comfortable boots on the planet, the leather is so soft, the cut and style are perfect in every way.I love these boots, my 2nd pair. After 2 winters of hard wear one of the heels collapsed but our local independent shoe repairer fixed it...I couldn’t bear to be with out my lovely boots so treated myself to the new Pikalinos and they are so comfy and feel good to wear. Very happy!I am a fan of Pikolinos and have purchased several pairs of shoes, sandals and boots. As always, the Rotterdam boots are of exceptional quality and so comfortable. Wouldn't be without them and would definitely recommend.These boots are unbelievably comfortable. The insoles are padded and the heel a perfect height. I highly recommend these boots, they are worth every penny
