Best socksgood socks ... they looked too large when i received them, but once i washed them, they were the correct size for me (i wear a women's size 9 shoe). i have foot, ankle & lower leg edema and have much trouble finding socks. these were not too tight in the calf and did not fall down during my daily walks so they worked out for me. they are not thick/heavy enough for winter socks but are good for fall & spring weather in the northeast. my only complaint is linting ... after wearing them all day, when i removed them, the bottom of my feet and toes were covered in black lint even though i did wash them before wearing for the first time. i tried laundering them inside out the second time i washed them but had the same problem the next time i wore them, but with less lint. i would assume that there will be less and less lint every time i wash & wear them but have not tested that theory yet.I love the fact that these socks really are non-binding! I've been looking for socks like these for years! Most of the ankle type socks I've tried that were not stretchy would slip down my feet and under my heels when I walk. But the crew socks I tried all had tops that would bind on my left leg, which has a tendency to swell. Even other supposedly non-binding socks would bind, and I couldn't wear them. These are perfect! The weave is loose, though, and can "run' and snag easily, so you have to be careful. But that is a small consideration in light of the comfort they give! I recommend them heartily, and plan to buy more from time to time!I really do like the diabetic socks. They are thin enough that it feels like I don't have socks on, but keep my feet warm. The only thing for my foot is that they seem a little short. Where the cuff begins, it is a little lower towards my heal, which make it seem shorter. Even with that, the sock does not slide down into my shoe. I did reorder them.Purchased these for my mother who has issues with edema in her lower extremities. She has tried many “diabetic” stretchy socks, but they are still always too tight for her (5’3” 135lbs for reference). These socks were great, and she really liked them. The socks are loose and not restrictive or binding in any way, yet they still stay up without leaving terrible marks around her ankles. She likes these for summer as they are a shorter length, but still a little higher than what I would consider an “ankle sock”. I will purchase more of these brand when needed.When I opened the package and saw these socks I thought they are going to be way to big, they looked huge(wide). I thought, well maybe they'll shrink. So I put one one on and it fit so well on my narrow foot. I don't understand how they look so big, yet when I put them on they're just right. Strange! ? . I wore them and they are perfect in every way, no more binding tight socks, they don't get baggy by the end if the day like a well known name brand I usually use. No binding. Going to order some more.My feet usually are too large for regular socks but these give a little space to wiggle my toes. I liked that.Although a little large, I believe they will shrink a little in the washer & dryer & then fit perfectly. They are very soft and comfortable, I like the material and they are extremely comfortable around my ankles, leaving no dents on my ankle.
