To rate it… from the “technical” point of view - the sock is fine - there’s nothing wrong with it and i would give it a 5 star rating.But i guess it comes down to the individual’s needs for it. I guess if you have a small foot and need to fill the space in a shoe or boot - this is your sock!But if you need to wear it in a daily walking shoe and it is hot outside - probably not the best choice, since these socks are pretty thick and warm. They feel snuggly and there’s also the texture - if you like that kind of thing. I’d say i’d wear them in cooler/colder weather in a larger shoe or boot.These socks are nice and comfortable for me. The quality is very good, they are very soft and do fit well, however they might bit a little too tight on my feet. The compression was a bit too much and I started having numb feet after a while. It might also be the combination of shoes i used them with. In my case they do not fit large, even those my size is 6.5.I like the way they are compressive- fit like a name brand running sock, but they do run large!I am a shoe size 8.5, so I fall on the low end of the size range for these socks (8-12). As such, the toes feel oddly loose when compared to the compression in the middle of the sock. Otherwise, they fit fine. The cushion on the sole is quilted, which is a little odd but supportive enough. I tend to like slightly more cushion in my socks, but that is just a personal preference. They are snug around the ankle, so it seems like they will stay up well. Did not really shrink in the wash.Truly not a huge fan. I have size 8 feet and they definitely are a little big but I guess that’s expected with a 8-12 range!! I wore these once and realized my feet were so hot and sweaty in them!! They just really are not breathable.Overall the material is fine. Not uncomfortable and the black is nice. They are pretty thick and durable.Be cautious buying!!
