First of all, boots in a narrow width are difficult to find. Thanks to those companies who still care about us. That said Rockport Cobb Hill makes some of their styles in narrow. I own the Abilene in black so it wasn't too risky to go for the gray and the fit is pretty similar to the one I've owned for 2 years. The quality of construction is good and the leather is decent. In Cobb Hill an 8N is my "go to" size and it works again in this boot. It is narrow in the front and conforms to the foot. The heel is slightly loose--companies just don't seem to get this right in many styles. I grew up in the day of full service shoe stores and a good shoe had a combination last--that meant if you were AA in the ball of the foot it came with a 4A heel and hugged the heel nicely. That is hard to find in 2019 but I hope you appreciate the history lesson.Rockport Cobb Hill is not always consistent--I bought the Alexandra earlier this year and it ran almost a size too small. A month ago I bought the Daisy Panel and it's sizing too was off--very loose in heel. Thankfully returns are easy--especially if you have a Kohls store nearby.
