This is a lovely quality shoe at this price point (under $40)! It runs slightly large. I ordered my usual size 8 and there is extra room at the toe area which looks a little off-putting but I don't feel like exchanging or worrying that the next size down may be too small. Advice: size down a half size if you are in between sizes. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that the block heel is quite heavy which I did not anticipate and the ankle area is a little larger than expected - if you have very small delicate ankles which I do not, perhaps avoid these booties. Comfort level (only worn around the house so far as we have snow) is moderate. My guess is I would not to be walking miles and miles in these shoes but that they will be comfortable enough for an evening out or a lunch date/errands, etc. I bought them for the fashion statement they make (open toe transitional bootie) to wear with skinny jeans and ankle pants. The fact that they are nice genuine suede leather with what appears to be a real wood block heel makes them a great find!Good quality but unfortunately the zipper on the back is so hard to zip up, almost impossible.Matisse does not disappoint! Great quality and good looking bootie to boot! Heel fills a bit higher than 2 inches.I LOVE these shoes. They are NOT a peep toe. It's a sandal. Low heel, comfortable & since they have full heel coverage I can use insoles. Most summer shoes dont have that option. Suede is gorgeous. I normally wear a seven & the 6.5 fits perfectly.Ordered my normal size 9. It was too long. Returned for 8.5 which was perfect. These shoes are gorgeous. Great height. Comfortable and super cute with jeans or a skirt/jumper.Then opening of the peep toe is much too big. I was laughing out loud at how weird my foot looked in these. The quality is nice and they fit perfect but all of my toes stuck out the front lolOk
