I have wanted these boots for years and I am so glad I got them, they are seriously kick-ass. I have been wearing them out a few times a week for about 3 months now, and I also put them on for quite a few outfit photoshoots in my driveway every week; so while they aren't getting daily-wear 7 days a week for hours at a time, I believe they would stand up to it fairly well. I've walked in grass, on gravel, over dirt piles, pavement, and regular sidewalks, and they are doing pretty good.They are comfortable for standing in walking in for prolonged periods of time, more so than my sneakers. I have however put in arch supports for even more support, and this makes them even more comfortable.The ONLY con is that I am plus size and have some chonky calves and ankles. The boots are a little hard to zip and sometimes will have a slight tiny bit not zipped if I am wearing tall socks and leggings at the same time, the chonk + fabric makes it a very tight fit. So I tend to wear them when I am wearing skirts and dresses only.I've gotten a lot of compliments.I typically wear a size 8 1/2 to a 9 in womens so I purchased size 9 and there's a slight bit of room there that makes them comfortable. If you are an 8 1/2 or 9 I suggest 9, if you are a 9 1/2 I suggest getting a 10 and not trying to size down 9.I ordered these a size larger than I would other brands. But for me, this seems to be a Demonia brand trait, not the exception. I have truly wide feet, but these boots have a relatively roomy toe box, considering these are in women's sizes. After adjusting the laces and straps, these are the cutest and most comfortable pair of Demonia boots, ever. (I can wear them about 6 hours before I say, "Aww, hell no!" and have to take them off.) With the platform being a bit shorter than 'average', they are by default the least lethal Demonia boots I own. I love them![Edit April 19th, 1.5 months after initial purchase, deducted one star]I get a lot of compliments on these boots, and they are easily my favorite where aesthetics meet relative comfort. That said, the rubber tread on the very bottom of the shoe has separated from the foam platform in various areas, front and back, on both boots. I've had to attack them with industrial strength glue several times now. The rigid heel cup is trying to separate from the vegan leather inside the right boot. I was considering buying a second pair to rotate for daily wear, but I'm skeptical.I have a couple other pairs of demonias and i have always gotten them in a size 6. I normally run from a 6 to 6.5 but for demonias, 6 fit perfectly. So, i thought for this pair it would be the same case, but no. I had to return them for a 7 because they were just way too tight. Not sure if it’s just this model that runs small. Other than that I’ve worn them quite a bit and haven’t had any problems with them, they’re also quite comfortable.These broke my heart. This was tragic, as far as shoe buying goes. I've never seen heart shaped studs before! Genius. Sadly, these are some of the "stiffest" shoes I've ever gotten, especially from the brand. I would compare them to new Doc's or T.U.K.'s. Perhaps they would break in, but I'm too afraid to wear them and still have issues, and not be able to return them. The ankle was very rough and made my skin irritated due to the rubbing immediately. I had some small pain in the top of my foot as well after taking a few test steps. They're just an odd fit. Hitting right at the ankle bone isn't the smartest design pick, I'd say. Ouch. The toe box is really wide, so just be warned it's common with the brand. It takes some getting used to. The sizing is OK, a little larger than usual. [I wear a 7-7.5 in heels/flats and up to an 8 in boots. I got these in an 8.] If you're confident you can break them in and can wear taller socks, go for it!! They're stunning.I bought a size 10 i usually wear 9-9.5 and i also have wide feet so sizing up in boots usually works if there is no wide option. Ive been walking in these for 4-6 hours at a time here in japan and theyre sturdy but they hurt so i recommend that you put some foam inserts or somethin. The bottom layer of the sole is peeling off a bit so i stopped figeting with it on that side of the shoe. I also noticed that the zipper smells a little metallic so if you zip it your fingers will smell a bit. Despite these things I love how this looks and its some thing i could wear everyday... Until it falls apart. O:As usual, this brand is really too expensive for what you get. Fake leather that is too stiff and doubt they would not hold up to every day wear but good costume shoe if you think you will wear them more than once since so expensive. I have had this brand in the past and they do last a few years if you only wear once in a while for costume. They are comfortable if you add in inserts.I'm so glad I bought these. Well made and comfortable. Perfect fit. True to size but might be on smaller side for people with longer feet since the sole is moreso wide than long. Shoes are a bit tight when you first try them on, all I did was loosen the laces and buckles. To loosen them some more, I put on some thick socks and pulled the laces tight and used a blow dryer to heat it up a bit to be more flexible and mold to my feet. The soles of the shoe is rubber so it'll help prevent slipping. I've posted pictures so you can see. These shoes are perfect and go with pretty much anything. I've been wearing them since I got them. Very comfortable and just amazing! I've gotten so many compliments on them!ive been wearing these for 4 months now everyday and its important to know demonias are strictly for fashion, the bottom of the shoe isn't holding up well but other than that they're doing good for the amount of stress I put them underBeautiful boots - but l had to go down a size as they were a bit big - l normally go for bigger sizes as l have wide feet but these boots are nice & wide so l can wear a smaller sizeGreat design, but poor quality. For the money not worth it. The soles started coming off pretty soon. The studs are falling out. Shame?Really comfortable shoes, surprisingly lightweight and stunningly looking! They are a bit on the bulky side but really look amazing on!Amazing boots look so good and very comfy too!Love these boots!
