The boot is leather! It has a nice almond shaped toe so it doesn’t crush your toes. It is not a clunky looking boot as someone stated in their review. Sturdy feeling and that is what I wanted. It is a boot. Easy on with the zipper. Width is medium. I take a 7 in shoes so I ordered a 7 1/2 in these boots...just right.
