I absolutely love the look of these boots. The subtle platform, slim ankle, and heel shape make them look really sexy. There isn't much bend in the sole, maybe because of the platform, so they feel a bit clog-like, but that's no problem in my opinion. They are excellent quality. Lovely leather lining inside. I've worn them out once, to dinner and drinks with friends and had to walk to and from the subway and from the restaurant to the bar, maybe a total of 15 blocks over several hours, but mostly sitting down. Although I did stand on the subway on our way home, which was about 20 minutes. No problem at all. I'd love to wear these to a rock concert because they're so hot, but I really don't think I could comfortably be on my feet for hours at a time in them. But for work, dinner, walking a few blocks here and there, etc., they are fabulous. There is minimal padding inside, but that's what I'd expect from a dress boot. Minus the platform, the heel height is essentially 3", maybe a 1/8" shy of that, tops.
